Astrid Lulling, is one of the founders of the EU parliament and the EU, a politician from Luxwmburgh, a former EU parliament member from the Christian Social People’s party, the part of the European People’s party. The EU Parliament even named a lounge for taking important decisions after her.

I was invited for a session of communication with this remarkable person in Brussels. After being asked about corruption and the process of reforms in Ukraine, about the situation in Crimea and Donbas, about the prospects for the youth and its support, she told me: “Forward, and forwards only, Maxim!”.

Miss Astrid Lulling was immensely surprised at the fact, that instead of the claims about seeking to be a European state, Ukraine has a rediculous  requirement, apparently  not of a European nature, for those, willing to run for the presidency.  A person, that plans to take part in the elections for the post of a president is entitled to the amount of $100,000 to be paid for running as a candidate.

She also pointed to the fact, that when the Strasbourg Court starts proceeding  the case, she will ensure support of the EU parliament to establish justice about this issue.
